What makes our WL Tokens different?
PART THREE - Tradeable WL Tokens
As mentioned, 8000 WL tokens will be distributed. These tokens come in the form of PREQUEL artwork from half a dozen incredible Web3 artists in the space (from Pearly, to Artlv12, to our resident Muimooi)!
Each WL token is not an SPL token, but a Metaplex Core token – put another way, these are NFT editions as well as being WL tokens.
But how do these work?
The aim of our team is to mint up to 10K Pathfinder totems and to get them out into the wild. These are NFTs that you will be able to plug into our Storybook Mint to begin a journey that allows you to iteratively shape your NFT with your decisions.
We aim to deliver a new Chapter each month with new transformations, and new decisions in a story shaped by our award winning game developers. Let’s start by outlining how our mint works…
Tradeable Tokens
Our WL tokens are a different class of token to those you think you know. Not only will they carry great art and PREQUEL content that will set the stage for our mint.
They will also be fully tradable as art in their own right on Tensor from Day 1 in their own collection. Any WL tokens that persist: whether as beloved art, or due to individuals with broken alarm clocks after the minting period, will have a unique role in the future of the Pathfinders ecosystem.
We are keen to deliver value to holders, and that flows all the way down to the WL token itself. Nothing is disposable, everything matters.
